Splitting time as co-owner of Freq Shop as well as touring the globe in the band The Damn Truth, Dave's experience and knowledge spans nearly two decades playing music, producing records and mixing in the Canadian music scene. He's made records with We Are Monroe, Guidestones, Mangy Pride, Mountain Dust, alongside Juno winning producer Jean Massicotte, Grammy winning mixer Tchad Blake and rock legend David Bottril. Though a hard hitting thunderstorm behind the drum kit, Dave approaches record making with a focus on musicality, arrangement, dynamics and feel. A no barriers mentality and staunch work ethic is at the core of his values. Betting on character, individuality and originality, Dave capitalizes on the distinctiveness of the artist.
