Splitting time as co-owner of Freq Shop as well as touring the globe in The Damn Truth, Dave's experience and knowledge spans nearly two decades playing music, producing records and mixing in the Canadian music scene. He's made records with We Are Monroe, Guidestones, Mangy Pride, Mountain Dust, alongside Juno winning producer Jean Massicotte and Grammy winning mixer Tchad Blake. Though a hard hitting thunderstorm behind the drum kit, Dave approaches record making with a focus on musicality, arrangement, dynamics and feel. A no barriers mentality and staunch work ethic is at the core of his ethos. Believing in character, individuality and originality, Dave chooses to capitalize on the distinctiveness of the artist rather than cliche.
